William Lamon is an accomplished cybersecurity and technology sales executive with more than 10 years of experience helping organizations strengthen security, manage risk, and modernize critical systems. He currently serves as an account executive at Binary Defense. There, William Lamon partners with clients to deliver human-led, technology-based cybersecurity solutions that combine threat monitoring, detection, and response.
Before Binary Defense, William Lamon held senior sales roles across innovative cybersecurity and enterprise technology firms, including Cyber Crucible Inc., VMware, IBM, and Carillon Information Security Inc. Throughout his career, he has advised Fortune 50 companies, financial institutions, government agencies, and defense organizations on endpoint security, identity management, risk and compliance, and zero-trust strategies. He is skilled in building trusted executive relationships and consultative selling, where he talks to clients, identifies their unique problems, and recommends effective solutions.
Earlier in his career, William Lamon worked in global security analysis and operations management. He was an operations manager at Phoenix Air Group and a global security analyst with the Institute for National Strategic Studies. He has a BA in history and political science from Southern Methodist University and a Master’s degree in international relations from The American University of Cairo.
Away from work, Mr. Lamon is a published author. He wrote “The Last Shades of Scarlet: Wolves of Laconia,” a historical fiction novel set in the time of the Peloponnesian War. He also enjoys reading historical fiction, skiing, hunting, and scuba diving.
